Join us for a virtual environmental justice Tu B’Shvat Seder and meet the new Hazon on a journey through the global network of environmental Judaism. Tu B’Shvat traditionally marks a new year for the trees as the sap of almond trees begins to rise in the land of Israel. Today, we reframe it as a day of renewal and celebration for the Jewish environmental movement embracing environmental justice as a crucial component of a healthier just world for all.

This year Tu B’Shvat falls on Martin Luther King Jr. Day – a reminder that the fight against the climate crisis must also be a fight for climate justice. Our gathering together will be an evening of spiritual renewal and inspiration led by Rabbi Isaiah Rothstein of JFNA along with the farmers and education of Adamah farm and Pearlstone Center, the community of Hakhel, and the activists of the Jewish Youth Climate Movement. You are invited to join us on Sunday January 16 at 7:30pm.
